It has a tendency to clump and easily adhere to various surfaces. As a result, the smooth flow is hindered, leading to production delays and variations in quality, which ultimately contribute to increased costs. One tire manufacturer experienced significant impacts on production efficiency and quality due to the poor flow characteristics and handling difficulties of carbon black. [Challenge] Decreased production efficiency due to bridging and adhesion of carbon black This tire manufacturer faced two issues in handling carbon black that led to wasted time and costs. First, carbon black would bridge at the discharge outlet, preventing the measured raw material from being fully discharged, resulting in frequent production delays.
